Area of Practice & Background

Timon practices in the civil litigation and construction law group at Sutherland Law, advising and representing clients in a wide range of practice areas including construction liens, debt collection, real estate defaults, wrongful dismissal, shareholder disputes, charity law, defamation, human rights and environmental law. He has successfully obtained and enforced numerous judgments against creditors and employers and has also emphasized the importance of early conflict resolution in his litigation strategy in order to save client's thousands of dollars in legal fees.

Timon thrives in courtroom advocacy and prior to joining Sutherland Law, gained international success in litigation and advocacy competitions against competitors from around the world in the Price Media Law Moot. He has also assisted the City of Toronto in researching and drafting policy and provided pro-bono work to local communities in dealing with renewable energy developments all of which has provided him with invaluable insight of municipal operations in development and environmental compliance trends.

A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, Timon spends his free time at community environmental justice events, drawing, airsofting and playing boardgames.
